Chapter 743 - 46. Even If They Hate Me

A spaceship soared into the sky, leaving Earth behind as it streaked into the vastness of space.

After meeting up with Ryouko, Risa, and Mio, Sora, along with Lala and the other girls, had left Earth to begin their off-world journey.

The ship sped through the cosmos, jumping through several spatial nodes. Within a few days, Sora and the girls arrived at a massive, primitive planet—the same place where Sora had trained when he first came to this world.

"Everyone, we're about to land!" Lala announced to the others in the ship as she slowly guided it towards the ground.

"So this is an alien planet… It's amazing…" Risa and Mio pressed their faces against the observation window, their eyes shining with wonder.

"So, Mikado-sensei, what do you think? Not a bad planet, right?" Sora asked with a smile, a hint of nostalgia in his voice as he packed his things and looked down at the vast, primitive world below.

"Hmph, it's alright…" Ryouko snorted, giving a lukewarm reply, but a flicker of satisfaction was evident in her eyes.

"Huh? What's that? There's something down there," Lala said in surprise.

"Where, where? Let us see."

"Whoa… That's a dinosaur, and a giant ape!"

"They're… so… big!"

"Oh no, they've spotted us! They're looking this way!"

Risa and Mio eagerly crowded around, but when they saw what was down there, they gasped and clung to each other in fear.

Below the ship were a dinosaur and an ape, each as large as a mountain!

Sora walked over to take a look and couldn't help but chuckle. It was the Tyrannosaurus and the giant ape. He didn't expect these two best buds to still be hanging out together after he left. They were probably fighting over territory and food again.

He was about to say hello to the two behemoths, but to his surprise, the Tyrannosaurus and the ape roared at the ship, and then a massive fireball and an energy blast shot out of their mouths!

BOOM!!!

As expected, the fireball and energy blast hit the ship, and a huge explosion erupted in the sky.

"ROOOOAR!"

Seeing the ship destroyed, the Tyrannosaurus and the ape roared triumphantly. Ever since that demon had left, they had been the undisputed rulers of this planet, and life was good.

That round thing dared to hover over their heads? It had a death wish. They had to teach it a lesson, show it the power of Grandpa Dragon and Grandpa Monkey.

Treating it as a minor interruption, the two massive beasts glared at each other, ready to continue their fight.

However—

"Tyrannosaurus, little ape, you've gotten bold since I've been gone. You even dare to shoot at me."

Sora's voice came from the sky.

He was floating in mid-air, holding a shell-shocked Risa and Mio. Next to him was Lala, a pair of small black wings on her back, holding Ryouko.

The two once-ferocious beasts froze upon hearing Sora's voice. They stiffly turned their heads, and when they saw Sora smiling down at them from the sky, they trembled, a look of human-like terror on their faces.

"Whimper…"

They whimpered, never expecting this demon to return.

As if the world was ending, they forgot all about territory and food and tried to flee in opposite directions.

"Ah! Sora, they're getting away!" Lala shouted.

"Hmph, you think you can escape? You blew up our ship, so you can taste what it's like!"

A massive energy sphere was compressed and then kicked downwards by Sora.

BOOM!!!!!

A deafening explosion echoed as the energy sphere detonated, expanding rapidly and engulfing the fleeing Tyrannosaurus and ape…

Planet Deviluke, Royal Palace—

"Rhea, what has Lala been up to lately?"

On the throne, Sephie Michaela Deviluke, the queen of the universe, asked as she reviewed documents.

"According to Zastin's reports, Princess Lala has been attending school with her fiancé from Earth," replied Rhea Aslan Deviluke, the strongest female warrior of Deviluke and Queen Sephie's knight, her silver hair flowing.

"School? Hmph, the princess of a grand empire. What could she possibly learn on a backwater planet like that?" Queen Sephie snorted, seemingly displeased with Lala's activities.

Rhea remained silent, awaiting the queen's orders.

"Zastin mentioned last time that Lala's fiancé possesses the strength to defeat their royal guards. For a member of a weak species like humans, that is rather surprising."

Sephie Michaela Deviluke tapped her long, flawless fingers on the desk, her sharp eyes glinting with wisdom as she contemplated. Then, as if she had made a decision, she said:

"Rhea, you will go in my stead and test that boy. Do as you see fit. Not just anyone can be Lala's fiancé."

Her aura was overwhelming, and her voice echoed through the palace.

"And if this fiancé is found unworthy?" Rhea asked, a strange light in her eyes.

"Unworthy… Deal with him as you wish. Bring Lala back," the queen replied, a cold smile on her beautiful face, her tone casual yet absolute.

"Yes, Lady Sephie!" Rhea bowed, a cruel smirk touching her lips.

"You two, how long do you plan on eavesdropping?"

Suddenly, Sephie Michaela Deviluke looked to the side and spoke coldly.

There was no response. Just as a frosty look appeared on the queen's face, two figures timidly stepped out from behind a pillar.

With pink hair, cute faces, identical princess dresses, and swaying black, heart-tipped tails, they were Lala's twin younger sisters: the second princess, Nana Astar Deviluke, and the third princess, Momo Belia Deviluke.

"Princess Nana, Princess Momo, this is not a place you should be," Rhea said, clearly having noticed them earlier. Her tone was not as cold as it was with others, but rather gentle, like an older sister.

"We were wrong, Mother, Sister Rhea," the two girls apologized obediently.

"What are you doing here?" Sephie Michaela Deviluke asked, her voice as regal and cold as ever, even with her own daughters.

"Mother, we miss our older sister. Since Sister Rhea is going to test her fiancé, could you let us go as well?"

"Yes, yes! Our sister is so naive. We need to go see and make sure she isn't being deceived by some ill-intentioned person!" Momo curtsied gracefully, her posture befitting her royal status, but the impulsive Nana couldn't hold back.

"Hmph, you miss Lala? You just want to use this as an excuse to leave the palace like she did," Queen Sephie retorted with a cold smile, her perceptive gaze seeing through everything.

"Mother, we… we…" The two girls were flustered, their true intentions exposed.

"You are not going anywhere. You will both stay in the palace!" Queen Sephie's voice was cold and commanding, leaving no room for argument.

Hearing their mother's unfeeling words, both girls looked angry and wronged. The strong-willed Nana was about to argue, but the more mature Momo quickly stopped her.

"Yes, Mother. We will not leave the palace without permission."

"Please do not overwork yourself, Mother. We will take our leave now."

After curtsying to their mother, Momo quickly pulled the reluctant Nana out of the throne room.

"Lady Sephie, are you not being too strict with the princesses?" Rhea couldn't help but ask after the two had left.

"Rhea, I know I am being too strict with them, and that it makes them resent me."

"But the empire is becoming more unstable. My enemies could target them at any moment."

"I don't care if this empire falls, but I will protect them, no matter what. Even if it makes them hate me!"

Queen Sephie's voice echoed in the throne room, no longer cold and regal, but filled with the resolve and determination of a mother. Rhea was stunned.

"Lady Sephie…"
