"Senior, please send me out."
"I am ready."
Lin Fan silently observed his surroundings, sensing that the situation was more complicated than he'd imagined. This place was likely no ordinary part of the real world.
"You are truly difficult to deal with," said the unknown entity.
Lin Fan feigned surprise: "What do you mean by that, Senior?"
"I mean exactly what I said—you are difficult to deal with. The Human Clan truly is clever. I've been speaking with you for so long, and yet you consistently avoid the heart of the matter. Have you noticed something? I wanted you to comply willingly, but it seems I'll have to resort to force," the Old Demon replied slowly.
Lin Fan had driven him to the brink of madness.
He no longer wanted to continue the charade.
There was no point anymore.
What was there left to act out?
The Old Demon couldn't gain any advantage from him at all—not even for a single moment.
