Qin Yi's whole body was tense, feeling as though his nerves were about to snap. He wanted to relax, but everything was beyond his control; it was a natural bodily response.
The butterfly, as if carved from glass, slowly flew towards Qin Yi. Its speed was not fast, but it carried an unstoppable momentum, as if nothing could block its path.
Qin Yi stiffly tilted his head slightly, and the butterfly flew past his ear. A strand of broken hair fell onto his shoulder. Qin Yi felt a chill through his body; the butterfly didn't even touch him, merely flew by, and yet it severed a strand of his hair.
When the butterfly had passed, Qin Yi slowly turned around.
Bang bang...!
The giant ape madly pounded its chest like muffled thunder, causing Qin Yi to see stars.
Roar!
The giant ape pounded its chest again and roared, appearing extremely agitated.
Only then did Qin Yi realize that the giant ape was not targeting him but the butterfly.
