Understanding is one thing, whether or not to act on it is another.
Xu Ke had no intention of taking the old woman to the hospital. Instead, he squatted down and carefully observed her face, then reached out and tapped her cheek.
"I know you're not unconscious, stop pretending, get up." Xu Ke said.
The old woman lying on the ground kept her eyes closed and didn't move.
"Look, she's not waking up, she probably isn't pretending. We should take her to the hospital for an examination, just in case something happens, you won't be able to explain it even with eight mouths." Someone in the crowd spoke up.
"If you don't wake up, don't blame me for using some methods." Xu Ke ignored the person who spoke and continued squatting in place, speaking to the seemingly unconscious old woman.
The person who was ignored felt a bit embarrassed, looking at Xu Ke with some anger, even rolling their eyes at him to express their dissatisfaction.
