"Whizz, whizz, whizz!"
The sharp sound of breaking wind echoed, as a volley of arrows suddenly attacked from behind, catching the Pola family's army off guard. Instantly, screams resounded, and many soldiers on the outskirts fell.
"Enemy attack! Enemy attack!"
The Pola Knights, realizing what was happening, quickly swung their Cross Swords to regroup and change formation.
The soldiers, who were originally surrounding the adventurers, scattered in all directions and soon assembled into a square battle formation on the plain.
With a cold face, the Pola Knight came to the front of the formation, glaring ahead.
In front, a hurried sound of hooves echoed continuously, as a battalion of hundreds charged rapidly towards them.
This was a troop of light cavalry, all uniformly dressed in standard metal armor emblazoned with dragon patterns, appearing exceptionally magnificent. Equipped with short crossbows and Cross Swords, they looked formidable under the sunlight.
