Lynch went over to take a look and saw a device resembling a compass lying horizontally on the table, densely engraved with runes whose purpose was unknown.
Neither could Yikarsha's knowledge identify the true nature of the device, so she asked, "Do you know what this is for?"
Lynch carefully examined it.
"Hmm..."
He hesitated, somewhat uncertain, and said, "It looks like some sort of device similar to a Memory Crystal, likely capable of storing video and audio... Look here, a Sound Recording Crystal and a Mirror Shadow Gem."
Although it was his first time seeing this device, he managed to roughly guess its usage from some of the materials it was made of.
Kalsa asked in confusion, "Is it really?"
She appeared to be somewhat skeptical of Lynch's words.
Lynch did not continue to explain but instead started to fiddle with the device before him, and after some tinkering, he quickly understood its working mechanism.
