So, when he ordered Mila and the others to make adventurer badges, he left his Spirit Will Rune on each badge. Thus, when adventurers defeat undead and imprint their Spiritual Imprint onto the undead's soul spark, the resurrected undead becomes his Undead Followers, under his control.
