As Lynch pushed open the heavy metal door, a surge of concentrated magical energy swept over him the instant he entered the treasure house. It felt as though the entire space was whispering ancient secrets. Inside the treasure house, the atmosphere was spacious yet dim, illuminated only by the soft glow emitted by magical crystals embedded in the walls, casting light over the mountains of wealth and knowledge piled within.
What first caught Lynch's eyes was the row upon row of towering bookshelves on one side of the treasure house. The shelves reached up to the ceiling, neatly packed with countless thick magical books. A rough glance revealed a number that easily exceeded hundreds, perhaps thousands.
