Chapter 113 - Chapter 1212: The Seduction of That Voice, It’s Utterly a Prison Hell

Gu Changge noticed that Jing Xiang had followed him, but he merely smiled casually and paid no further attention.

His figure passed through the crowd as if merging into nothingness. Even as he walked through the throngs of people, no one seemed to notice him.

The Demon-Sealing Tower was enveloped in a divine green light, with cascades of chaotic starlight falling like waterfalls on either side, connecting heaven and earth, as if it stood in the depths of the universe.

This place was like a chaotic dance of demons, with black mist drifting and filling the air.

Gu Changge passed through it all like an outsider, more like a wandering ghost drifting through the worlds, walking directly toward the tower to enter it.

Jing Xiang, who was following behind Gu Changge, was utterly stunned by this sight.

He didn't understand why everyone seemed to be unable to see Gu Changge, allowing him to walk alone toward the ancient tower.

"Brother Gu, wait for me!"

Gritting his teeth, Jing Xiang didn't know where he found the courage at this moment to follow the mysterious and unfathomable Gu Changge.

He ignored the clan members fighting around him and disregarded his parents, who had suddenly noticed his intentions and were shouting in alarm, trying to stop him from entering the ancient tower.

At this moment, Jing Xiang mustered all his strength and sprinted toward the faintly visible entrance of the ancient tower, throwing himself into it without a second thought.

The surface of the ancient tower rippled like a silent wave, spreading outward before quickly disappearing.

Jing Xiang watched as Gu Changge vanished inside and, imitating his actions, ran straight in as well.

As for what consequences this might bring, he could no longer care. In that instant, Jing Xiang felt as if he had passed through a curtain of water, or as if he had moved from the surface to beneath it. The sudden pressure nearly suffocated him.

But for some reason, a gentle force suddenly appeared and enveloped him, allowing him to recover.

"Thank you, Brother Gu."

Jing Xiang's face was pale. For a moment, he had felt as if his internal organs were about to be crushed, and he was filled with lingering fear.

This place was truly not somewhere an ordinary person like him could enter. The oppressive aura alone felt like ten thousand mountains pressing down on him, threatening to crush him into pulp.

Fortunately, the gentle force had appeared quickly, easing his discomfort.

Jing Xiang guessed that it must have been Gu Changge who helped him, especially since Gu Changge had glanced back at him with a somewhat enigmatic smile when he followed.

However, the space inside the ancient tower was not as small as it appeared from the outside. It was a world of its own.

What Jing Xiang saw was like a vast, mist-shrouded palace, grand and resplendent, with no visible boundaries. The surroundings were hazy and indistinct.

The tower had eighteen levels, and Jing Xiang felt he was on the first floor. But on this first floor, he could see nothing, nor could he see any of the ancestors trapped here.

However, Jing Xiang sensed a faint figure walking leisurely ahead and knew it must be Gu Changge.

Without hesitation, he quickly followed.

Meanwhile, outside the Demon-Sealing Tower.

Jing Xiang's parents stood in stunned disbelief.

"Xiang'er, how could you be so foolish?"

They had never expected Jing Xiang to suddenly act like a madman, charging into the ancient tower and disappearing in an instant.

Their expressions were grim, tinged with grief. To them, this mysterious ancient tower was far from the holy place it appeared to be.

Otherwise, why couldn't the ancestors of the Jing Clan who had entered it leave? Although Jing Xiang had no talent for cultivation and couldn't compare to Jing Xiao, who was already on the verge of becoming an Immortal King at a young age,

he was still their beloved child, deeply cherished by them.

To them, Jing Xiang rushing into the ancient tower was no different from walking to his death.

Jing Xiao's expression was also stunned.

She couldn't understand why Jing Xiang, who had been fine just moments ago, would suddenly charge into the ancient tower as if he had lost his mind.

"Xiang'er… could he have been seduced by that voice to do such a thing?"

Jing Xiang's mother felt the world spinning around her, nearly collapsing.

Jing Xiao quickly supported her, her face filled with worry.

Jing Xiang's father wore a heavy expression, unable to guess the reason.

"If that's the case, then the only way to save Xiang'er is to open this tower. If too much time passes, with Xiang'er's strength, he won't survive long inside. Moreover, we have no idea what dangers lie within."

He spoke in a deep voice.

Originally, he had been hesitating about how to handle the situation.

But with Jing Xiang suddenly rushing inside, there was no room left for him to consider other options.

Around the Demon-Sealing Tower, many members of the Jing Clan began fighting each other, disregarding their kinship.

Despite the efforts of the Jing Clan's patriarch and elders to stop them, it was to no avail.

At this moment, Jing Xiang's parents were the first to question the patriarch and elders, accusing them of knowing the secrets of the ancient tower but keeping them hidden from everyone.

The current scene of clansmen turning on each other was the result of their secrecy.

The patriarch and others were at a loss for words, only able to explain repeatedly that this was a warning left by the ancient ancestor, instructing future generations never to open the tower, no matter what happened.

As for why so many descendants had been brought to the Land of Eternal Life and tasked with guarding something, he had no idea.

The current situation was not what he had wished for.

He didn't know why this had happened.

The Jing Clan's patriarch and elders also felt a headache coming on, unsure of how to resolve the situation.

Could they really attack their own clansmen?

Or should they open the Demon-Sealing Tower?

More and more members of the Jing Clan began to sense something amiss, as if an invisible force was influencing their thoughts.

They were horrified and began questioning the patriarch and elders about the secrets of the ancient tower.

Meanwhile, more clansmen, their faces filled with terror, tried to flee the scene.

To them, this was no Land of Eternal Life—it was utterly a prison hell.
