One week before the wedding, the estate was a quiet frenzy of motion—designers, planners, and florists buzzing in and out. Nori was seated beside Ayaka in one of the grand inner parlors, flipping through a thick sample book of curtain fabrics. The colors ranged from deep maroons to soft lilacs, and Nori looked overwhelmed but quietly excited.

"I still think the dusty rose blends better with the lighting," Ayaka said, tapping the page with his finger.

Nori nodded slowly. "Yeah… and it goes with the white and gold theme we already picked for the main hall."

Across the table, a wedding coordinator made notes. "And for the table runners and napkins, do you want them to match or contrast the curtain shade?"

Nori tilted his head thoughtfully. "Maybe a shade lighter. Too much of one color and it starts to feel stiff."

Ayaka beamed. "You're learning fast."
