Yan Xinxin caught the familiar scent, along with that warm and familiar embrace.
Holding little Chenxi in her arms, she fell steadily into someone's chest, the sense of security instantly filling her heart.
"Mo Chuxi?"
Without even seeing the person clearly, Yan Xinxin couldn't help but call out.
Mo Chuxi tightened his arms around her. After silently releasing a breath of relief with closed eyes, he finally opened his phoenix-like gaze.
"It's me."
His gentle voice brushed past her ear.
"Are you okay?"
Yan Xinxin turned her head slightly, lifting her starlit eyes to meet his worried, electrifying gaze under the moonlight.
"Now that you're here, everything's alright."
"Fool."
Mo Chuxi softly teased, pressing a light kiss on her hair.
"It's all over now. I'm taking you and the child home."
"Mmm…"
Yan Xinxin murmured in response, but soon felt her head spinning. Her vision went dark, and all her senses faded…
When she woke up, it was already the next day.
