Yan Xinxin froze abruptly.
"Mo Chuxi, what did you just say?"
*Swoosh—*
She suddenly looked up, but before she realized it, her footing slipped, and her body lost balance, pressing tightly into his chest.
Mo Chuxi instinctively tightened his hold on Yan Xinxin. With a loud "splash," water splattered everywhere.
His back slammed against the cold, hard bathtub. It hurt—quite a bit—but fortunately, Yan Xinxin hadn't suffered even a hint of pain.
Both of them were drenched from head to toe. Yan Xinxin slowly climbed up from Mo Chuxi's body, her hips inadvertently seated on his abs.
*Cough, cough.*
She coughed lightly and raised her hand to swipe the water off her face.
"Mo Chuxi, you bastard!"
Yan Xinxin shouted angrily.
"Have you forgotten that I'm carrying your child in my belly? Are you trying to tell me you don't want a daughter anymore?!"
Mo Chuxi sat up straight, cupping Yan Xinxin's flushed, scornful face with both hands.
