It seemed as if Xu Kun knew what she was struggling with, and he casually said, "Just give me the address, I'll buy it and deliver it to you!"
"Is that okay? You must be busy with work, right?"
Xu Kun replied, "It still takes time to pick you up and take you out to eat, it won't make much difference."
"Alright then, my home is at..."
An hour and a half later, Xu Kun's call came through. Hanging up, she ran lightly to the door.
He handed her a large box, "Don't eat too much of this tonight, it'll make you gain weight."
"Are you concerned about me?"
"No."
"Alright, thank you for running all the way out here to deliver food. How about finding a place to have some tea?"
Xu Kun said, "No need, I have things to do, I'll leave now."
He still had to go back to handle work, and a pile of documents awaited him.
"Okay then, I'll treat you to a meal when there's a chance!"
