"Anthony! Let me drive you there."
Benjamin Shaw chased after him, intent on driving Anthony to fetch his phone, but her goodwill was refused by him. "Benjamin, no need. You stay here and take care of Mr. Shaw. I'll just take a cab."
After speaking, he waved his hand at her and turned to leave.
Once Anthony's figure disappeared from her sight completely, Charlotte Shaw turned back to the hospital room.
After entering, she opened her mouth to scold Benjamin Shaw a few times, but upon seeing his weak and pale appearance, she swallowed the reproach back down.
Benjamin Shaw didn't want to speak. He glanced at his sister, closed his eyes, and began to pretend to sleep.
Understanding that he didn't want to talk, she didn't make a sound to disturb his wish for quiet. She walked over to the sofa, sat down, and began to scroll through the WeChat Moments on her phone.
"Did you call him over?"
