Upon hearing Easton Holmes' explanation, Lily Turner finally realized belatedly that she had been tricked by him just now. But he deceived her well, and she was very happy.
"Easton Holmes! Why are you so annoying?" She poked his head with her right index finger, and after poking him, she leaned over and gave his face a peck, "But I really like it."
After the peck, she wrapped her arms tightly around him.
"Honey! Can you loosen your arms a bit?" Being hugged by his wife was a blissful thing, but she was holding him so tightly he couldn't breathe freely. He didn't want to hand over his life so soon; he planned to spend a lifetime with her.
Upon hearing this, Lily Turner instantly realized she was hugging him too tightly, restricting Easton Holmes' breath. She quickly loosened her arms a bit, but was still holding onto his neck, "Is this okay now?"
She tilted her head to look at him and only felt assured when she saw there was nothing wrong with him.
