Sophia Wood was very cooperative; she didn't say much and got up to leave, giving space to the two sisters.
"Sis! Has something happened recently?" As soon as Sophia had closed the door and left, Lily Turner spoke eagerly.
Earlier, when Lily accused her of lying, Alice Turner knew Lily would ask her about it. Having anticipated this, she wasn't surprised at all.
"Would you believe me if I said no?" She stared at her younger sister beside her, and it was clear that her sister had already figured something out.
Lily immediately shook her head, "No!"
She met her sister's gaze, and it was obvious that her sister had been through something lately.
"You've guessed right, something indeed happened." When Lily was pulling her aside for sisterly secrets, Alice hadn't planned to hide it from her. She stared blankly at her sister for a moment and spoke of what had happened in the past two days, "Thomas Fisher and I are in love."
