Easton Holmes had just pulled back the quilt when Lily Turner immediately reached out and tugged it back, but instead of covering her head with it again, she tucked it around her neck.
"You're the one who smells!"
She knew full well he didn't mean it that way, but still, with her back to him, she retorted unhappily.
"Do I smell?"
In a sudden move, Easton Holmes leaned over, worried about pressing on Lily Turner's stomach, his hands supporting on either side of her body.
Lily Turner was startled, raising a hand to press against Easton Holmes' chest to stop him from coming any closer, "Let's not mess around, I really want to sleep for a bit."
She decided not to continue discussing the issue of body odor with him; a wise person doesn't suffer a loss in front of them, especially since she's a gentle lady.
"Then I'll sleep with you for a while."
Easton Holmes turned over to lie beside her, wrapped an arm around her and the quilt, pulling her into his embrace.
