When Easton Holmes arrived at the hospital, Lily Turner was in the examination room in the obstetrics and gynecology department for a check-up, and Alice Turner was waiting at the door. Seeing him rushing over, she became very tense.
"How is it going?"
Easton glanced at Alice, took a big step towards the examination room door, and was about to push it open, but stopped immediately the moment his hand touched the doorknob.
Seeing him stop abruptly at the door, Alice swallowed back the words she was about to say.
"The doctor said there are signs of premature labor, but we'll have to wait for the doctor's examination to know the specifics."
Alice tried not to look at Easton while speaking, her eyes deliberately or unintentionally fixed on the examination room door, but her peripheral vision constantly checked his expressions and emotions.
