Even if he didn't know that his mother had caused a scene at the Turner Family home, Easton Holmes would not leave Lily Turner alone in such a situation, let alone now that he was aware of what had happened. There was no way he would leave on his own.
"It's my first time meeting my mother-in-law today; it wouldn't be right not to go in and sit for a while." With that said, he pulled her along as they went inside, completely ignoring her struggle.
"Can we come another day?"
As they were about to catch up with Sophia Wood and Alice Turner in front, Lily Turner became both anxious and worried, her face flushing with urgency.
Easton Holmes turned his head and replied with two words, "No way!"
Although his voice was low, his tone was particularly firm.
