After a moment of internal conflict, Alice Turner finally made her decision, "Mom! Can I come over tomorrow night? If there's something urgent, please tell me over the phone now."
Unaware, she thought his mother really had something important to discuss, so she didn't want to speak too definitively.
"It's not anything urgent, why don't you both come over tomorrow night instead." Emily Snow didn't have any particular reason, but how could she say that? She was delighted to hear her daughter-in-law suggest this.
Alice Turner wasn't aware of the real situation, and relieved when Emily Snow said it wasn't urgent, "Okay!"
She readily agreed with a "Okay," and said nothing more.
