After receiving Easton Holmes' call, Alice Turner sneaked out from home. Fortunately, she came out in time and stopped Lily Turner at the gate.
"Don't go in yet, come with me. Let's talk it over together." Regardless of Lily's willingness, Alice pulled her toward the car parked nearby. No matter what, they had to wait for Easton to arrive before doing anything else.
Lily wasn't aware of the phone call between Easton and Alice. The reason Alice pulled her into the car, she thought, was to prevent her from being scolded by her mother, Sophia Wood.
"Sis! Over the years, I've trained myself with supreme skills. Mom's beatings don't scare me," Lily said and tried to get out of the car.
Feeling worried, Alice was not about to let her go. She pushed her back into the seat, "Listen, this time the matter is much more serious than you think."
Both mothers got into a physical fight; how could this be a trivial matter?
