Xavier received his new uniform and was taken to the servant quarters where he was given a room. They explained the palace rules to him—what he was allowed to do and what was forbidden, where he could go and where he could not. But none of it mattered to him. He had no intention of following their rules. He did not come here to obey. He came to destroy. His mission had only just begun, and the first on his list was Sabrina's family. After he took his bath, he ate the food that was brought to him. It tasted better than he expected, but he didn't care much. His mind was somewhere else.
