The Half-Beastman crouched down, his ugly face full of a loving expression. A rough, big hand patted Soka's head, biting his lips tightly, always wanting to say something but unable to speak.
"Can you guarantee her safety? You're surrounded by Dark Elves!" The Halfling walked up to Lynch. "When we found this little one, she was about to be sent to the Dark Elves as a sacrificial offering!"
"No, I can't take her away now, the passage is full of Dark Elves." Lynch looked at the people in front of him, "So, she still has to stay with you for now. We'll see about it when we get back to the Dark Elf City."
The Half-Beastman suddenly lifted his head upon hearing this news, his eyes filled with joy, yet still carrying a hint of the earlier sadness. Little Soka turned around, "Can I stay with them for a little while longer?"
