Liu Runxi glanced at the large red menu on the opposite wall, with the signature fried rice noodles at the top.
"Fried rice noodles, please."
"Anything you don't eat?"
Liu Runxi thought for a moment and said, a bit embarrassed, "Could you leave out the green onions, ginger, and garlic?"
The owner understood, "No problem."
Shen You'an said, "The same for me, but I'll have everything."
The owner smiled, "Please wait a moment."
Soon, the owner came over with a hot water kettle and poured tea for the two of them.
"This is my homemade asparagus radish tea, perfect for autumn to clear heat and moisten dryness, good for the lungs."
Before leaving, the owner glanced at the little girl clinging to Liu Runxi, "Don't make trouble for the guests, okay?"
The little girl nodded obediently, and only then did the owner return to the kitchen.
The little girl sat quietly next to Liu Runxi, playing with the pinwheel in her hand.
