"Let me push you out." Uncle Ma said, turning around to get the wheelchair in the corner.
"I'm not weak enough to need a wheelchair." Meng Heming stood up, dressed in patient attire, and walked out.
Seeing this, Uncle Ma paused and let him leave alone.
In the corridor, the man walked slowly towards one side—this was the way to the rooftop. Familiar with the environment because of previous visits when unwell, Meng Heming knew City Hospital like the back of his hand.
City Hospital's entire area is large, with rooftops of several buildings connected, forming a landscape. There are not only a lot of plants and flowers on the rooftop but also some simple fitness facilities for patients to pass the time.
There are several paths on the rooftop, all leading to different parts of the hospital.
