Chloe Grant looked at the marriage agreement above her, perplexed, "How come..."
As she inquired, she dialed Jacob Lee's number.
But the line was busy, and she couldn't get through.
"He came by earlier and explained everything to me. You just need to sign on it, leave the rest to me," the staff member said with a smile.
Chloe put down her phone, still puzzled, "Isn't there supposed to be a photo shoot and vows or something..."
Chloe hadn't been married before, but she'd at least watched TV.
This isn't how the process should be.
And without the groom, how could the wedding possibly proceed?
"That's right. He arrived earlier than you, but then received a call and had to leave because he was in a rush, so he prepared the documents in advance and asked me to handle them.
As for the photos, don't worry, he left the ones you previously took," the staff member explained.
At that moment, Chloe's mind was flooded with one scene...
