Matthew Morgan's expression was as usual—emotionless.
But if you look closely, his gaze was softer than usual.
Though he didn't answer, Chloe Grant still smiled brightly.
Between her and Matthew, the unfamiliarity and awe were gone, although... not very intimate either.
There was a kind of simplicity, nothing overly intense.
Yet, Chloe felt a very direct sense: this is how it should be between us.
When they reached their destination, Matthew was about to reach out to open the door, but Chloe beat him to it and pushed the door open.
