Chloe Grant felt a severe acidity in her heart, mixed with intense pain.
"I might really become your aunt in the future, you know." Sophia Fraser said with a smile.
Simultaneously, the waiter began serving the dishes.
"Oh, right, are you coming to the Morgan family estate for dinner tonight? Mrs. Morgan invited our family over." Sophia started to put things inside.
"Oh, probably not..." Chloe instinctively declined.
"Well, that's a pity. I just asked Matthew if you're coming tonight because if you're here, I might feel less nervous." After Sophia finished speaking, she secretly covered her mouth with her hand and added, "Actually, tonight's dinner with the two families feels like meeting the parents, and I'm really nervous about it; it sounds so official."
"Is Uncle Morgan coming back too?" Chloe only caught this part of the sentence.
