Ignatius Leclair shared his location, and Leah could see that the car had already stopped at the entrance of the Shaw Mansion.
"Grandmother, we're here. You'll see him very soon," Leah said softly.
As she spoke, she spotted the familiar figure of a man appearing in the courtyard; from afar, she could only see his tall figure.
The old lady rushed forward, embracing her grandson while tears streamed down her face, repeatedly saying, "It's good that you're alright. It's good that you're alright."
Richard Shaw lowered his eyes and hugged the old lady's frail body, comforting her in a deep voice, "I'm fine, Grandmother."
After speaking, the man raised his eyes to look at Leah, his tea-colored eyes fixed steadily on her.
Leah stood under the porch, the northern cold wind already raging. She wanted to smile, tugged at the corners of her mouth but ultimately remained still.
