Lana Shaw's car screeched to a halt at the entrance of the Shaw Mansion. The car behind followed suit and stopped as well. All they saw was Richard Shaw holding Leah at the door, and nothing else.
Everyone widened their eyes in shock. Was this really the same Richard Shaw who was so cold, reticent, and commanded respect without a word? It turns out he has a soft spot too. From now on, anyone who says the Shaw Family doesn't spoil their wives would have a fight on their hands.
The side branches of the Shaw Family got out of their cars, somewhat dizzy from the journey. They had prepared a belly full of words but couldn't utter a single one.
Upon hearing the screeching brakes, Leah turned around and saw three or four men and women, including a few elders, from the Shaw Family. Her cheeks immediately flushed. With her big, clear eyes, she glared at Richard Shaw, let out a cold humph, and felt like grinding her teeth.
