Griffith Squire, having achieved his goal for the day, was immediately in a good mood. He took Aurora Coldwell out of the room, waiting outside for Ian Coldwell to return for Chinese New Year's Eve.
"Thank you." Aurora gestured, her eyes slightly misty as she looked at him. Her little face was flushed, either from the cold or from excitement. She was no longer expressionless, with her features animated and charming, exuding a vibrant spirit.
Griffith, though not understanding sign language, could tell that this beautiful young girl was thanking him. To him, doing these things was just a trivial effort. Yet, knowing he could change a young girl's life with just a wave of his hand gave him a vague sense of accomplishment.
