Holding her soft body, his lips moved closer, almost impatiently wanting to kiss her. Tong Xi turned her head, causing him to kiss empty air, yet she couldn't push him away. Just as she was growing anxious, a car pulled up, and she was just about to call for help in French when a familiar figure filled her with surprise and delight.

The strength in numbers made it almost effortless as three young men stepped forward and forcefully pushed Tong Xi's ex-boyfriend aside. Watching him flee in panic into his car, Tong Xi finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"Thank you all," Tong Xi said sincerely, looking at them.
"How about you thank us?" Ye Wei raised an attractive brow and asked with a roguish smile.
Seeing Tong Xi seemed to want to leave, he aimed to stabilize her first. Then, he'd call Tan Qing to inform her of Tong Xi's whereabouts.
