He glanced again at the fifteen dragon heads coiled above the abyss, knowing full well that it was the gray gemstone in his hand that had triggered the Fog Nightmare's reaction. But it was strange; how did the gray gemstone relate to Aisis?
Thinking of this, he withdrew his gaze from behind the rock and pulled Faina back as well.
"Are you thinking of luring that woman here?"
The noblewoman crouched behind the rock, placing her hands on her skirt—though the edges of the skirt were already in tatters—and lowered her head to ponder before asking.
