In terms of strength alone, Brand thought the strongest opponent was Bujia, followed by Viscount Test, and lastly Albton and his grandfather. But if ranked by swordsmanship accomplishments, his grandfather and Bujia would be at the top, followed closely by Albton, with Viscount Test at the bottom.
He had sparred with Viscount Test once, knowing that his swordsmanship was characterized by speed, but speed required body attributes to support. The rules of the Nightmare Arena greatly limited Viscount Test.
Brand glanced around at his four opponents, already deciding to attack the weakest link among them, but even so, the situation remained grim.
However, once a challenge is chosen in the Fate Arena, there's no possibility of quitting halfway, and Brand knew he could only give it his all.
The duel arena was silent, and the outside 'spectators' realized Brand's predicament — taking on four opponents at once, each formidable in their own right — even a fool could see the danger.
