Brand stood up and walked to Funiya, placing his hand on the young girl's small shoulder and gently patting it. He said warmly, "Funiya is a sensible child." He raised his head and looked at the tall Druid Elder. "I treat Funiya as my own sister, and therefore, I respect her wish to entrust her to you. I don't particularly care whether she becomes one of the Forest People (another name for Druids in Vorn). However, I demand that you ensure her safety," he paused, his tone growing more serious. "Can you promise that?"
Andrew nodded, "You don't need to say that, Lord."
"Thank you, Brother Brand," Funiya clutched the hem of her dress with both hands and replied obediently, looking up.
