Brand sat at the walnut desk when he suddenly felt the Sage Stone Tablet in his arms gently tremble. Again? He was slightly startled. After pondering for a moment, the young man simply put down the quill in his hand, took out the item from his arms, and placed it on the desk beside the spread-out letter. The Sage Stone Tablet trembled softly, as if it had come to life on the wooden desk.
But after a while, it calmed down again.
It stayed still.
"What's the matter," Antitina asked softly. She blinked her eyes lightly: "Lord." She sat quietly in a high-backed aristocratic chair beside Brand, her posture dignified and graceful, neck long and elegant like a swan, against the sunlit window. Brand turned to look at her, momentarily entranced.
