The forest quieted down—
"Lord Kabais." The pale-faced undead wizard apprentice placed his hand on his chest and respectfully saluted the tall skeleton before him.
"I thought you maggots wouldn't come see me, Rosco."
The skeleton general clad in brass armor sat with his legs apart on a pile of corpses, one hand gripping his double-edged war axe and the other resting on his knee. He looked down at the frail apprentice with disdain, the flames in his eye sockets blazing fiercely.
