Back in his own home, Xie Qikan was thoroughly sleepless. The man, looking utterly dejected, changed into a set of gray silk pajamas. He tossed and turned on the enormous bed, his long arms resting beneath his head. Without realizing it, he began thinking about everything he had just seen at home. His eyes burned like flames, imagining engulfing and consuming the beloved little woman in his heart.
Xie Qikan's lips curved slightly, revealing a faint, bitter smile. His slender fingers became even more restless.
But after a good while.
"Well, who told you to be my wife? I'm sorry for this."
With a face covered in weariness, Xie Qikan strode out of the bathroom, his steps large and hurried.
Once everything had completely quieted down, Xie Qikan finally walked out of the bathroom, stretching his long legs. The older man sprawled on the bed in a star-shaped pose. Yet, his beautiful brows and eyes carried an emptiness and loneliness.
