Ivy Miller woke up to find the person beside her was gone.
She got up and patted her face. She hadn't planned to fall asleep, but she guessed she was too angry.
She got out of bed, opened the door, and walked to the small living room. Seeing the lunch and note on the coffee table, she stepped forward and picked up the note.
"I've changed the food; heat it up if it's cold.
Let's stop this fussing around.
Quarreling only hurts harmony; couples should make up by bedtime.
I'll be back by four and take you out. Eat first."
Seeing the note, Ivy Miller raised an eyebrow, feeling it wasn't so bad.
She sat down to eat with a smile. Actually, when she first saw the photo of an unfamiliar woman, she wasn't angry, just a bit annoyed.
It was his attitude when he came back asking for the photo that infuriated her.
No matter what, she's his wife; how could he ask his wife for a photo of his ex-girlfriend?
It was clearly disrespectful to her.
