He followed her out and noticed she was wearing wide-leg suspenders. He was puzzled for a moment, "Those pants look a bit familiar."
"I bought them this morning and modified them myself. How do they look? Stylish, right?"
Henry Sullivan glanced at her, surprised at her skill.
With that modification, the pants indeed looked much more upscale.
"New pants and you're already tinkering with them. You're never satisfied, are you?"
Ivy Miller laughed, "Uncle, you don't get it. Youth is meant to be wild. How can you have a happy life without a little chaos?"
He frowned at her. How could everything she said sound so convincing yet so outlandish?
Ivy asked, "Where are you taking me, to town?"
Henry pointed to a small hill not far away, "There's a little hill over there. I'll take you for a walk up the mountain."
"I'm not going," Ivy immediately stopped.
He looked at her, "Why not?"
"There are wolves," she said loudly.
Henry couldn't help but chuckle, "Don't worry, I have a gun."
