Hunter Warren looked at her, "It's the truth. No need to think too hard about it. She was my sister-in-law after all."
Faye curved her lips, her smile becoming more radiant due to her happiness.
The two quietly walked to the front row and sat at the same table as Grayson Forrest.
As soon as they arrived, Grayson asked Faye, "Why are you so late?"
Hunter chuckled, "There were a few journalists at the entrance, so I helped Faye handle them."
Grayson nodded, "Are they gone?"
"I arranged for them to have a meal upstairs."
"I see."
Faye leaned closer to Grayson and whispered, "Uncle Forrest, who would've thought Brooke could look so pretty with makeup."
"There's no such thing as an ugly woman, only a lazy woman — that's never been just a saying."
Grayson looked fondly at Faye, "To be honest, although Brooke suffered under Richard Townsend,
she also found a blessing in disguise. Her parents' medical expenses are covered, and she became a young madam of a wealthy family."
