Faye Townsend raised an eyebrow and broke into a mischievous grin.
"Are you kidding? Aside from Mom and you, there isn't a woman in this world I can't handle. Your big brother's charm? Irresistible to both the young and old."
"Boastful, aren't you? Let's make a bet then. The deadline is the end of this year.
If I lose, I'll willingly take out a million dollars from my own pocket to give you.
But if you lose… I know you're reckless with money and probably can't cough up a million anyway.
So next year, you'll work for the company without pay for a whole year."
Richard Townsend sneered, "Pfft, a bet it is. You think I'd be scared of you?"
He stood up lazily and strolled toward the door. "I'm out. Make sure to get me a capable secretary, oh, and I only want a female one."
"Got it."
As Richard left, Faye smirked mischievously, thinking that even if it's a female secretary, she'd assign the ugliest one possible.
