It's been a long time since I sat listening to an opera and disappeared into it.
Coming out of the opera house, Faye felt her neck was a bit stiff.
She said to Hunter Warren, "Do you know I haven't watched opera for ten years?"
He nodded: "I know."
"You know?"
"Yes, you told Henry about it, and later Henry mentioned it to me.
Since this hobby changed because of me back then, today I'll help you rediscover it.
It was my mistake before, but from now on, I'll watch operas with you for a lifetime."
Faye laughed: "Do you know how long a lifetime is? You're really boasting."
"With you, even the longest days don't seem that long.
I wish time would slow down so I could spend more years with you."
He looked at her as he lifted his hand to hold hers: "Faye, actually, I have a gift for you."
She pursed her lips into a light smile: "What is it?"
He took her hand and got in the car: "Get in the car, and I'll take you to see it."
