She furrowed her brows slightly... Indeed, she seemed like a completely different person.
Just a moment ago, she clearly had a grievance-ridden demeanor. Shaking her head, she decided not to go and say anything to her again and instead turned back to the ward.
Seeing her return, Clara asked curiously, "Faye, where did you go? And what about the flowers?"
"I returned them to the person who delivered them. The nurse mistakenly brought them to the wrong room; they should be next door. I just took the chance to apologize."
"Wow, such a big blunder!"
"Isn't it funny though?" Faye Townsend sat down by her bed and asked, "So, what do you want to eat tonight? I can ask Mrs. Lee to prepare something."
"We just had lunch, didn't we? You truly fear I'll go hungry."
Faye Townsend smiled lightly. Seeing her current expression, Clara bit her lip and asked, "Faye, there's something I want to ask you."
"Ask away."
"Well... has the hit-and-run driver been caught?"
