Song Ci fell ill, and remained unconscious for two days without waking up.
Though such situations have occurred in recent years, the Song Family was still somewhat anxious. The fever had subsided, yet she hadn't regained consciousness. It didn't appear as if there was something terribly wrong, but naturally, it was worrisome.
It is said that some elderly pass away quietly in their sleep; whether Song Ci would be like this remains to be seen.
They were afraid of her leaving without a word, which would surely be devastating.
Ever since Song Ci fell into a feverish slumber, Song Zhiyuan hadn't left her bedside, scheduling people around-the-clock to keep an eye on her condition, fearing that any negative change could occur too suddenly.
Lin Qing directly moved into the outer room, not daring to leave Chunhui Hall. Even at midnight, she would rise to check Song Ci's pulse, just in case.
