Upon hearing this, Leng Shuangshuang felt the veins on her temple throbbing and, finally, she couldn't hold it in any longer.
Out of the corner of his eye, Lu Jincheng saw a pair of flat shoes approaching, and before he could speak, he heard a voice filled with anger, "Lu Jincheng, what do you want from me?"
He looked up and saw her struggling to control her emotions.
Lu Jincheng leisurely put down the newspaper, stood up, and pinched her sharp chin with his long fingers, "Leng Shuangshuang, don't you know what I want?"
"I don't know! I don't have the luxury of guessing other people's thoughts like you do."
Lu Jincheng raised an eyebrow slightly at her words, thinking she was really angry.
After a moment of silence, he asked, "Why are you against coming to the hospital? Tell me the reason, hmm?"
"I..." She suddenly fell silent.
