Although doubtful, Xiao Qing knew now was not the time to ask. She smiled and nodded at him, then asked, "Could you tell me how to get a taxi around here? I don't have a car and I wish to go out and buy some things."
The security immediately replied, "Looking to shop? There's a new supermarket around here that has everything you could need. You might want to check it out first."
Xiao Qing looked in the direction he pointed and faintly saw the supermarket sign. She thanked him and headed there.
After she left, the security guard was puzzled.
It had been years since he last saw Miss Zhuang, and she became beautiful and also seemed not to recognize him.
Xiao Qing, however, wasn't concerned with what the security guard thought. Right now, she only wanted to buy groceries and cook. She thought that living overseas for so long, she wouldn't know how to cook Chinese dishes. But once she was at the supermarket, she picked out vegetables skillfully.
