'Knock, knock, knock--'
Hao Jiale raised her hand and politely knocked a few times first.
The director's office on the fifth floor of Building Three was not her uncle's private office, but a place where many directors and deputy directors gathered to work together. Because of this, there were many more formalities to observe.
"Come in!"
A woman's low voice came through, clearly busy with something.
'Creak--' The door opened a small crack.
Hao Jiale walked in first, scanned the office, and finding no sign of Director Hao, her uncle, she said, "Report, Director, I'm here to bring the new student to enroll."
"New student?" The female director adjusted her black-framed glasses and, through the gap, vaguely saw Gu Tong behind Hao Jiale, saying, "There haven't been any student transfers recently. Are you sure you meant our Academy?"
