Ye Rui closed the door, walked in with the box in her hands and said with a smiling face: "You didn't eat the flower cake I made for you yesterday, so I made a fresh batch today and improved the mix of sugar and cream, it's sweet but not too rich, really good."
Leng Shaoqing put down his signing pen, and with a weighty gaze, looked at her, "Just put it there, I'm still busy with work now."
"Oh." Ye Rui placed the box on his desk, a fleeting disappointment crossing her eyes: "It's lunchtime, do you want to have lunch together?"
"Are you hungry?"
Ye Rui nodded, though she was actually fine; she was just worried about him always skipping meals for work which could be harmful to his health, he had stomach issues and it was torture for him when it acted up.
Leng Shaoqing picked up an internal line phone on the desk, giving instructions officially: "Please bring me a lunch."
Ye Rui asked: "Aren't you going to eat?"
