"Stay." Mabel Quinn looked at the person in front of her and said. For her, this was something she needed to summon courage to say, but once the words actually left her mouth, she suddenly felt relieved.
It turns out that some words you think would be hard to say are not actually that difficult.
Kyle Kinston's entire body went rigid, his pitch-black phoenix eyes shocked as they gazed at her, "You... what did you say?" He worried he had misheard or misunderstood.
"I said, would you... stay tonight? I want to sleep with you tonight, it just feels more reassuring that way." She said, inexplicably feeling this impulse. However, once the words came out, Mabel couldn't help but blush a little. The words sounded like an invitation to bed, "Um... what I mean is just to sleep on the same bed, nothing else... uh, no, it's just purely sleeping..."
The more she spoke, the more it felt like she was digging herself into a hole, her face growing warmer.
